Our Story

A Dream Come True

The Beginning

LiveTiny was born from a vision: to make the tiny house lifestyle accessible to everyone across Europe. What started as a small project among friends passionate about sustainable design has grown into a benchmark in the industry.

Our journey began when we realized that many people wanted a simpler, more sustainable, and freer life, but couldn't find housing solutions that combined quality, design, and practicality.

Today

Today, LiveTiny is a team of dedicated professionals – architects, designers, craftsmen, and engineers – who share the same passion for excellence and innovation.

Every tiny house we create is the result of years of experience, continuous research on materials, and meticulous attention to detail. We don't just build houses: we create spaces that improve people's lives.

FAQ

Everything you need to know

General & Design

What exactly is a Tiny House?

A Tiny House is a miniature home (usually between 15 and 40 sqm) designed to maximize space and reduce environmental impact, without sacrificing the comfort of a traditional home.

Can I customize the design of my Tiny House?

Yes, we offer customized solutions. You can choose the interior layout, materials, finishes, and accessories to adapt the house to your specific needs.

How long does it take to build a Tiny House?

From signing the project to delivery, average production times vary from 3 to 5 months, depending on complexity and material availability.

Regulations & Permits

Do I need a permit to install a Tiny House?

It depends on the type:

  • On wheels (homologated): It is considered a vehicle (like a caravan). If used for temporary or tourist purposes in designated areas, bureaucracy is streamlined. If used as a permanent residence, local municipal rules apply.
  • Fixed (without wheels): Requires the same permits as a traditional house (Building Permit) and must be placed on buildable land.
Can I place it on agricultural land?

Regulations vary by country. Generally, it is possible only if the structure is mobile, not permanently anchored to the ground, and used for limited periods, or if linked to professional agritourism activities. We always recommend consulting a local technician.

What license do I need to tow a Tiny House?

If the Tiny House on wheels weighs up to 3,500 kg, a BE license requires. The towing vehicle must be homologated for such a load.

Tech & Comfort

How do utilities work (water, electricity, sewage)?

Our houses can be:

  • Standard: Direct connection to public networks.
  • Off-grid (autonomous): With photovoltaic panels, water tanks, and composting toilets or filtration systems.
Are Tiny Houses suitable for winter?

Absolutely yes. We use high-quality insulation materials (like wood fiber or hemp) and certified windows that guarantee excellent thermal comfort in both summer and winter, with minimal heating costs.

What are the maximum dimensions for road circulation?

To be transportable without special permits, a Tiny House must fall within Road Code limits: max width 2.55 m, max height 4.00 m, and max weight 3.5 tons.

Costs & Investment

How much does a Tiny House cost?

Prices vary greatly based on size and finishes:

  • Base/Shell models: starting from € 17,000 - € 22,000.
  • Turnkey fully furnished models: between € 37,000 and € 72,000+.
Is it possible to get a mortgage?

For fixed Tiny Houses on buildable land, a construction mortgage is possible. For those on wheels, typically personal loans or financing for movable assets are used.

Transport & Maintenance

How does delivery work?

We handle transport via specialized vehicles, or if the house is on wheels and you have a suitable vehicle, you can pick it up directly from us.

What kind of maintenance does it require?

If built with wood, it requires the normal maintenance of a chalet: treatment of external walls every 2-4 years depending on weather exposure.
